The Role
We're seeking an experienced SRM Manager to design, build, and lead our Supplier Relationship Management framework—a strategic initiative that will position IG as a procurement and vendor management centre of excellence.
This is a pivotal role within our Procurement function. You'll shape how IG engages with suppliers, manages risk, drives value, and achieves compliance. Your work will directly contribute to organizational efficiency, service excellence, and strategic business objectives.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership:
Define and develop IG's SRM policies, processes, and procedures, establishing best-in-class practices
Design and implement a comprehensive SRM framework aligned with regulatory requirements and IG's risk appetite
Build stakeholder engagement strategies to promote SRM adoption and embed accountability across the organization
Performance Management:
Establish and monitor vendor KPIs at contract and supplier levels to track, analyze, and report on vendor performance
Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms providing clear visibility of supplier performance and emerging risks
Identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of supplier relationships and processes
Team Leadership:
Manage a small, high-performing team dedicated to SRM execution
Provide coaching and development, building SRM expertise across the function
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Risk & Compliance:
Formulate and deliver SRM policy in compliance with IG's risk appetite and regulatory requirements
Monitor for emerging supplier risks and implement mitigation strategies
Support the Head of Procurement in digitalization of SRM processes, governance, and reporting
Ensure adherence to SRM standards throughout the organization
Stakeholder Engagement:
Influence leadership and key stakeholders to promote the benefits and importance of SRM
Build understanding of IG's complex business landscape and develop relationships with regional and global stakeholders
Deliver vendor training and education programs
Provide responsive communication and strategic guidance to senior management
Commercial Optimization:
Identify and drive cost optimization opportunities across the supplier base
Target improved visibility of spend and risks with key suppliers
Support strategic and commercial management of third-party, internal, and outsourced services
Collaborate with procurement colleagues to identify and execute supply chain opportunities
Collaboration & Systems:
Work with procurement team members to contribute to systems, tools, RFI/RFP development, and MSA/SOW negotiations
Partner with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance functions to ensure holistic vendor oversight
Support digitalization initiatives in risk assessment, data collection, performance management, and reporting
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience:
5+ years in vendor management in a regulated financial services environment
Proven track record of designing and implementing SRM frameworks or equivalent strategic vendor management initiatives
Strong strategic sourcing and vendor management leadership experience across diverse services
Expertise managing outsourced partners, with particular strength in IT, Marketing and Professional Services supplier relationships
Experience across the complete vendor lifecycle: selection, contract development, performance management, and continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability in senior/executive-level stakeholder management
Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
