Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Power Automate Desktop (PAD) Architect with a minimum of 12 years in Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PAD development, strong architectural and solution design skills, and a proven track record in delivering enterprise-grade automation solutions. Relevant certifications are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the implementation of end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop (PAD) - both desktop and cloud flows
- Define solution architecture aligned with business goals and enterprise IT standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into scalable PAD workflows.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Evaluate and integrate Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud, Dataverse, etc.) as required.
- Troubleshoot performance and automation issues, and guide the team in implementing optimized solutions.
- Stay updated with Microsoft’s roadmap and emerging features relevant to PAD and Power Platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Microsoft technologies with at least 5 years in Power Platform and 3+ years hands-on experience in PAD.
- Expertise in developing complex desktop automation solutions using PAD.
- Strong knowledge of RPA concepts, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proven experience in architecting automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Experience with connectors, scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, JavaScript), and integrations with legacy and modern systems.
- Familiarity with version control tools, CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in agile and hybrid delivery models.
Certifications (Mandatory):
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert PL 600 (or equivalent)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate PL 500 (preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI Builder, Copilot, or other AI-enhanced capabilities within Power Platform.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and cloud platforms (Azure, etc.).
- Exposure to migration projects (e.g., Blue Prism to PAD) is a plus.
