Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 7 to 10 years of experience in Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. Experience in Bioinformatics is a plus. This role does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the applications are current.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement gathering design development testing and deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Document application designs processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have extensive experience with Lucidworks Fusion AWS Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
  • Should have a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Should have experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Nice to have experience in the Bioinformatics domain.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
