Job Summary

Tessolve is looking for an experienced IP/SOC Verification Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SystemVerilog/UVM-based functional verification . The candidate will contribute to verification planning, testbench development, simulation, and debug activities for complex IP and SoC designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches for IP and SOC-level verification.
• Define verification plans , test strategies, and coverage goals.
• Implement constrained-random, directed, and assertion-based tests .
• Integrate multiple IPs at SOC level and verify system functionality.
• Analyze simulation failures, debug issues, and work closely with design teams for root cause analysis.
• Ensure functional and code coverage closure and regression automation.
• Participate in design/verification reviews and contribute to methodology improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IP/SOC functional verification .
• Strong experience in SystemVerilog, UVM methodology , and verification environments.
• In-depth understanding of SoC architecture, bus protocols (AXI, AHB, APB, PCIe, DDR, USB, etc.).
• Proficiency in simulation tools like VCS, Questa, or Xcelium , and debug tools like Verdi or DVE .
• Experience with coverage-driven verification , regressions, and scripting (Python/Perl/TCL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Good to Have

• Exposure to low-power verification (UPF/CPF) , DFT , or formal verification .
• Experience with SoC integration, emulation, or FPGA prototyping .
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Perforce) and CI flows.
