The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and applications that power our telematics platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and a range of modern technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Work with Grails-based services and integrate with MySQL, MongoDB, and other data stores.
• Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers using React.js, HTML5, and AJAX.
• Ensure high availability and scalability using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with MySQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Elastic Search.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with frontend technologies: React.js, HTML5, AJAX.
• Strong understanding of version control (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
