Job Summary
We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud Basics and Java. This role is hybrid allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work. The position does not require travel. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our companys goals and positively impact society.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software applications using Java and cloud technologies to ensure high performance and responsiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that meet customer needs and business objectives.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on users.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.Continuously research and implement new technologies and tools to improve software development processes and outcomes.Ensure software solutions are scalable secure and maintainable to support long-term business goals.Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for new projects and enhancements.Develop and execute unit tests and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.Document software designs code and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure a seamless user experience.Contribute to the companys overall mission by developing software that enhances user satisfaction and drives business success.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of cloud basics and experience with cloud platforms.Have extensive experience with Java programming and related frameworks.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Show proficiency in software development methodologies and tools.Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Have a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
