Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spring Boot Java and JavaScript with a strong background in the Cards & Payments domain. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with in-office collaboration ensuring a balanced work-life experience. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot Java and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains competitive.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the software.
  • Document software designs code and processes for future reference and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of software.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives.

  • Possess a strong background in Spring Boot Java and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show proficiency in software development best practices and methodologies.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have experience with agile development processes.
  • Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
  • Show experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
  • Possess excellent documentation skills.
