Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus. The role involves designing developing and maintaining software solutions that align with our companys goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of complex software applications using AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers ensuring best practices are followed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Maintain code quality organization and automation.Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality of code.Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Document software designs code and processes for future reference.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in AWS React JS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.Have experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Exhibit a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills.Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.Display a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.Show the ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code.Demonstrate experience with version control systems like Git.
