Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Angular JS and JavaScript. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Angular JS and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality organization and automation
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Document technical specifications and development processes

    • Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Angular JS and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in web development technologies and frameworks
  • Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
  • Ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
