Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus).
Hands-on experience with safety audits, risk assessments, and OSHA compliance.
Certifications:
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety certification (preferred).
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (preferred).
First Aid/CPR certification.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and other relevant safety standards.
Ability to perform hazard analysis, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to train and educate employees at all levels on safety procedures.
