Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cucumber TestNG Java Rest API and Jira. Experience in Asset and Wealth Management is a plus. Responsibilities
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cucumber and TestNG to ensure software quality.Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test cases.Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure the stability of the application.Utilize Java programming skills to enhance and maintain the automation framework.Test Rest APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.Provide detailed and comprehensive test reports to stakeholders highlighting key metrics and findings.Work closely with product management to understand requirements and ensure they are met.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the testing process and overall product quality.Mentor junior team members providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all testing activities.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience with Cucumber and TestNG for automated testing.Must have proficiency in Java programming for developing and maintaining test scripts.Must have experience with Rest API testing to validate functionality and performance.Must have expertise in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.Nice to have experience in Asset and Wealth Management domain to understand business requirements better.Nice to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.Nice to have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Certified Tester Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.
