Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Java and Selenium to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to improve testing efficiency.Provide detailed reports on test results and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not impacted by new changes.Monitor and track defects ensuring timely resolution and retesting.Implement best practices in quality assurance and testing to continuously improve processes.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues early.Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes and procedures.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of quality.Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in Java and Selenium.Should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.Nice to have experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management.Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement.Should have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Must be proficient in using testing tools and software.Should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
