Job Summary
We are seeking a MES consultant with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Siemens Opcenter MES and a strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of technical and domain-specific skills to drive our projects forward. The position operates on a day shift with no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and support of Siemens Opcenter MES solutions to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.Oversee the development and customization of MES applications to meet specific manufacturing requirements.Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Siemens Opcenter MES.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for MES projects.Develop and maintain documentation for MES processes configurations and user guides.Ensure the MES systems performance reliability and scalability through regular monitoring and optimization.Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to enhance their understanding and usage of the MES system.Participate in the design and execution of test plans to validate MES functionality and performance.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to the MES system.Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery of MES-related services and support.Monitor industry trends and advancements in MES technologies to keep the system up-to-date and competitive.Provide regular status updates and reports to management on MES project progress and performance.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all MES-related activities.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.Have 7 to 10 years of experience working with Siemens Opcenter MES.Demonstrate strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems and their applications in a manufacturing environment.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Show proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to MES development.Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest MES technologies and best practices.
