Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Product Test Consultant with 15 to 17 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL TestNG JavaScript Robot Framework Sterling OMS RestAssured Cucumber Java Python and Selenium. This role is hybrid and requires no travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products particularly in the Order Management-Retail domain.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Robot Framework and TestNG.
  • Provide expertise in SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy in test environments.
  • Utilize JavaScript and Python to develop and enhance test automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Implement and manage testing processes for Sterling OMS to ensure seamless order management operations.
  • Use RestAssured and Cucumber to perform API testing and ensure robust integration between systems.
  • Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the system.
  • Monitor and report on test execution progress defects and overall quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the product by ensuring high-quality deliverables.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in SQL TestNG JavaScript Robot Framework Sterling OMS RestAssured Cucumber Java Python and Selenium.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in automated testing and test script development.
  • Exhibit proficiency in API testing and integration testing.
  • Show expertise in performance testing and identifying system bottlenecks.
  • Have a solid understanding of order management systems preferably in the retail domain.
  • Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Have experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Show a track record of delivering high-quality software products.
  • Be familiar with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
