Description
Amazon IT Services(ITS) is looking for an experienced Sr Vendor Manager to maintain and service our third party partners and help drive processes supporting the readiness and performance of the IT field service workforce in each geographic area of responsibility.
They will define and maintain aggressive service level agreements and drive adherence through metric development, analysis and reporting.
They will drive corrective actions with all partners through reporting and training.
They will be accountable for ensuring third party partners have adequate reporting training, tools and equipment and that these resources are regularly maintained and available.
They will coordinate training and support documentation development specific to ITS and help and define the requirements needed to provide engineering field support to our field technicians or staff.
They will lead identification, documentation and communication of tools, training or system enhancements that will improve the customer experience for ITS Vending, reverse hardware logistics and meeting rooms support.
They will foster an environment of continuous improvement and look for ways to simplify and improve services
Key job responsibilities
Vendor Management
• Orchestrates the IT departments’ engagement and delivery with suppliers.
• Acts as a Single Point of contact for vendors catering to Amazon ITS Services.
• Develop and sustaining long
- standing relationships with organization approved vendors.
• Increase vendor participation through deep knowledge of program opportunities.
• Identify, own, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with detailed attention to process improvement, time and cost efficiencies.
• Demonstrates experience synthesizing data, identifying root causes, and developing actionable solutions to solve challenges and improve the overall customer experience.
• Lead implementation, configuration, testing, training, & documentation activities across Amazon IT.
• Assist procurement in expanding current vendor selection and for multiple geographies and categories pertaining to global IT.
• Liaison with lT procurement, legal, compliance and other stakeholders to ensure full compliance with the local labor law and other legal aspects.
Project Management
• Project planning, cost modeling, work breakdown structures, task assignment, and tracking.
• Defining new process and procedure for operations.
• Take part in overall project management, time estimation & resource scheduling.
• Establish criteria concerning deliver
- ability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
• Risk management with Issue escalation and resolution.
• Strong Leadership, People & Customer relationship skills along with the drive to execute projects within and outside the Business Units.
• Understand the current IT/Technology trends, analyze/identify the impact of each trend on the business segments across the organization.
• Review deliverables & tasks assigned to the team, ensuring zero downtime on
- time deliver and top
- notch customer

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years formal Program or Vendor Management experience
