Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Infra. Architect with 17 to 19 years of experience specializing in z/OS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex infrastructure solutions that align with our companys strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of z/OS and the ability to lead large-scale projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.Oversee the maintenance and optimization of z/OS systems to ensure high availability and performance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with other IT systems.Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal system health.Develop and enforce infrastructure best practices and standards to ensure compliance and security.Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to z/OS systems to minimize downtime.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities.Create and maintain detailed documentation for all infrastructure solutions and processes.Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.Provide regular updates to senior management on infrastructure status and project progress.Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to support future growth.
Qualifications
Possess extensive experience in designing and implementing z/OS infrastructure solutions.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Show proficiency in project management and the ability to lead large-scale infrastructure projects.Have a deep understanding of infrastructure best practices and security standards.Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
