Your New Role: 
 

As a Sr. Engineer, Participations you will be responsible for building, testing and deploying software applications using .NET frameworks and cloud-based solutions on AWSYou will work closely with the development team to deliver & support multiple applications and prioritize tasks. 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

 

Build 

  • Build software applications using .NET frameworks (both legacy and latest frameworks)  

  • Build and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS Services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step functions, API Gateway 

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and enhance system functionality 

  • Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards 

  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as monitoring jobs, address vulnerabilities and assist infrastructure/database teams 

 

Test 

  • Work closely with team members, business analysts, and QA teams to understand project requirements and deliverables 

  • Write and execute unit tests – both manual and automated tests using tools like Selenium, UiPath 

  • Perform integration testing and debugging  

 

Application Support 

  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of participations applications 

  • Perform basic testing and debugging tasks to ensure application reliability 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, data inconsistencies, and system outages 

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to minimize recurring issues by working with Sr. Developers  

 

Learning & Improvement 

  • Stay up to date with latest technologies and trends 

  • Attend in-person/online-trainings/conferences to improve skills 

 

Miscellaneous 

  • Participate and collaborate with rest of the development team to prioritize and deliver projects 

  • Attend Project meetings and discussions 

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users 

 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • 5+ years of production support or software development experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in building software applications using ASP.NET, C#, Sql Server and AWS 

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business development or streaming services industry experience a plus) 

  • 2-3 years of hands-on implementation or operational experience with Participations, Residuals and/or Music Royalty payments 

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git 

  • Strong understanding of Software development life cycles, including design, development, testing and deployment 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

  • Certifications in .NET, SQL Server or AWS is a plus 

  • Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings, and worksheets 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Work collaboratively w/small teams 

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
