Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Splunk Qradar. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security events using Splunk to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.Experience in QradarDevelop and implement security measures to protect the organizations systems and data.Limited overlap with PST time zonesConduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with IT and other departments to address security issues and implement best practices.Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.Provide guidance and support to team members on security-related matters.Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends technologies and threats.Develop and maintain security policies procedures and documentation.Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions and architectures.Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.Ensure the secure configuration and management of security tools and systems.Participate in incident response planning and execution to minimize the impact of security breaches.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Splunk with hands-on experience in monitoring and analyzing security events.Have a good understanding of Listing and Finding Services and their security implications.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address security issues effectively.Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Show a proactive approach to staying informed about the latest security trends and technologies.Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH to validate expertise in the field.Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.Have experience in conducting security assessments audits and vulnerability testing.Possess knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity.Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.Demonstrate the ability to provide security training and awareness programs for employees.Have experience in incident response planning and execution to minimize the impact of security breaches.
