Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Qualys VMDR and a strong understanding of Listing and Finding Services. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively during day shifts to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Qualys VMDR to ensure comprehensive vulnerability management and detection.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and maintain security policies procedures and protocols to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents providing timely and effective responses.
  • Limited overlap with PST timezones
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support for security-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve the companys security posture.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security incidents findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Participate in security incident response activities including investigation and remediation efforts.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background with expertise in Qualys VMDR.
  • Have experience in Listing and Finding Services which is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
