Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra Dev Specialist with 8 to 12 years of experience in Puppet IT Automation and Chef IT Automation. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model with a day shift. This role does not require travel. The candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining infrastructure automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement infrastructure automation solutions using Puppet and Chef to enhance operational efficiency.Oversee the configuration deployment and maintenance of automated systems to ensure optimal performance.Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of automation workflows and processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address automation needs and requirements.Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation.Create and maintain documentation for automation processes configurations and procedures.Conduct regular assessments and audits of automation systems to identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for infrastructure automation.Provide training and support to team members on the use and maintenance of automation tools.Lead initiatives to integrate new automation technologies and tools into the existing infrastructure.Analyze and optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in infrastructure automation technologies.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in Puppet IT Automation and Chef IT Automation.Demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing infrastructure automation solutions.Have a solid understanding of configuration management and deployment processes.Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues.Exhibit excellent collaboration and communication skills.Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and tools.Display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Hold a relevant certification in infrastructure automation or related field.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing automation needs.Show a commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends.Have experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.Be capable of providing training and support to team members on automation tools.
