Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 to 12 years of experience in VDI - Citrix VAD and VDI - Citrix Cloud. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift. This role does not require travel. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing virtual desktop infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure using Citrix VAD and Citrix Cloud.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDI-related issues.Oversee the deployment and configuration of VDI solutions to meet business requirements.Ensure the security and integrity of VDI environments through regular updates and patches.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VDI solutions with other IT systems.Monitor VDI performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience.Develop and maintain documentation for VDI configurations processes and procedures.Conduct regular audits and assessments of VDI environments to ensure compliance with industry standards.Assist in the planning and execution of VDI-related projects and initiatives.Provide training and support to end-users on VDI functionalities and best practices.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in VDI technologies.Work closely with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and optimize VDI performance.Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for VDI environments.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in VDICitrix VAD and VDICitrix Cloud.Have experience in updating customer master and maintaining open invoices is nice to have.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.Show proficiency in documenting technical processes and procedures.Display a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.Have a solid understanding of IT security principles and practices.Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.Possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Show a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.Have experience in conducting training sessions for end-users.Be familiar with industry standards and best practices for VDI environments.
