Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins Scrum Java Jira Selenium and PL/SQL. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks using Jenkins and Selenium.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Utilize Scrum methodologies to manage and prioritize testing activities ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts in Java ensuring robust and reliable test automation.
  • Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform database testing using PL/SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes tools and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering applying new knowledge to improve testing practices.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Jenkins Scrum Java Jira Selenium and PL/SQL.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
  • Show excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have experience in the Cards & Payments domain which is a plus.
