Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Scheduling Basics PL/SQL Data WareHousing Concepts and various Teradata tools. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing data solutions that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts to support various business requirements.Oversee the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions using Teradata tools.Provide expertise in Scheduling Basics to ensure efficient and timely execution of data processes.Utilize Teradata TPT MultiLoad Fast Export and Fastload to manage and manipulate large datasets.Write and optimize BTEQ scripts to streamline data operations and improve performance.Apply ANSI SQL standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in data queries.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.Lead the development of data models and schemas to support business intelligence initiatives.Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and Teradata tools.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and systems.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Scheduling Basics and its application in data processes.Demonstrate proficiency in PL/SQL and its use in developing complex scripts.Have in-depth knowledge of Data WareHousing Concepts and best practices.Show expertise in using Teradata tools such as TPT MultiLoad Fast Export and Fastload.Be skilled in writing and optimizing BTEQ scripts.Apply ANSI SQL standards effectively in data queries.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Be able to work independently and as part of a team.Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions.Be detail-oriented and focused on data accuracy and integrity.Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
