Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in Retail Banking is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring high standards are met.
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and test cases using BDD and Cucumber.
  • Provide expertise in JavaScript Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL to enhance testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices are followed.
  • Monitor and report on test execution and defect tracking using Jira.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to quality assurance.
  • Drive improvements in the overall quality assurance process to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.
  • Have experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Demonstrate expertise in automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
  • Show proficiency in defect tracking and reporting using Jira.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Retail Banking is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.

    ISTQB Certified Tester Certified Selenium Professional
