Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 10 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cypress Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Additionally experience in the Cards & Payments domain is mandatory. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Lead the quality assurance efforts for our Cards & Payments projects ensuring high standards are met.Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts using Cypress Selenium and TestNG.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality assurance processes and best practices.Conduct thorough reviews of test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline testing processes.Implement and maintain test automation frameworks ensuring they are scalable and efficient.Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.Monitor and report on test execution progress providing detailed metrics and insights to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within the Cards & Payments domain.Utilize Jira for defect tracking and project management ensuring transparency and accountability.Perform database testing using PL/SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy.Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.Demonstrate expertise in Cypress Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.Have extensive experience in the Cards & Payments domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Show proficiency in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.Display strong communication and collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams.Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Have a proven track record of leading quality assurance efforts in complex projects.Be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Certifications Required
Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
