Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Additionally experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using BDD Cucumber and Selenium.
  • Provide expertise in JavaScript Java and PL/SQL to ensure high-quality code and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Utilize Jenkins and Maven for continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
  • Implement and manage test management tools such as TestNG and Jira.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum methodologies and participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Property & Casualty Insurance applications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify document and track defects and issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and test data for automated and manual testing.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Have a proven track record of leading quality engineering efforts in a hybrid work environment.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Hold a relevant certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent.
