Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python Cloud Composer and various GCP services. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining cloud-based solutions ensuring high performance and availability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using Python and GCP services.
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Cloud Composer and GCP Dataflow.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data stored in GCP Cloud Storage.
  • Optimize and manage BigQuery datasets for efficient querying and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the cloud environment to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Implement best practices for cloud architecture and data management.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and data engineering.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document technical solutions and processes for future reference.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in Python programming for developing cloud-based solutions.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Cloud Composer for orchestrating data workflows.
  • Must have expertise in GCP services including GCP Dataflow GCP Cloud Storage and GCP BigQuery.
  • Nice to have experience with other GCP services and tools.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have experience working in a hybrid work model.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
  • Must have a strong understanding of cloud architecture and data management best practices.
  • Nice to have experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Must be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

    • Certifications Required

    GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification or equivalent.
