Responsibilities : - Lead the implementation and management of Palo Alto IPS solutions to ensure robust network security. - Oversee the daily monitoring and analysis of security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Provide expert guidance on security best practices and policies to internal teams. - Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures. - Develop and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches promptly and effectively. - Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the companys operations. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity. - Manage and update security tools and technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats. - Train and mentor junior staff on cybersecurity protocols and procedures. - Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend corrective actions. - Participate in the development of security strategies and roadmaps to enhance the companys security posture. - Coordinate with external security vendors and consultants to augment internal capabilities. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues. -Qualifications - Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. - Have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Palo Alto IPS. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and penetration testing. - Be knowledgeable about industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Have experience in developing and implementing incident response plans. 9.
