Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PurpleWRT OpenWRT SDK - WiFi/DOCSIS Firmware Deployment Docker Container Linux Device Driver Linux Network Driver Middleware Development and Firmware Development. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
5+ years of experience in working with development of OpenSync
Understand Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.
Proficient in Linux and experience in configuring customizing and building Linux distributions (RDK-B or OpenWRT)
Strong programming skills in C and C++
Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices DOCSIS Cable Modem standards etc.
Develop and maintain firmware for various devices using PurpleWRT and OpenWRT.Implement and manage SDKs for WiFi and DOCSIS technologies to ensure seamless integration.Deploy firmware updates and manage the deployment process to ensure minimal downtime.Utilize Docker Containers to create and manage isolated environments for development and testing.Develop and maintain Linux Device Drivers to ensure compatibility with various hardware components.Create and manage Linux Network Drivers to optimize network performance and reliability.Develop middleware solutions to facilitate communication between different software components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of firmware and software components.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firmware and software to ensure optimal performance.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys competitive edge.Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers to foster a collaborative learning environment.Document development processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of PurpleWRT and OpenWRT.Demonstrate expertise in SDKs for WiFi and DOCSIS technologies.Have experience in firmware deployment and management.Be proficient in using Docker Containers for development and testing.Have a solid understanding of Linux Device Drivers and their development.Be skilled in developing and managing Linux Network Drivers.Have experience in middleware development for software communication.Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Be proactive in staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Have a background in the Telecom domain is a plus.Be able to provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.Have strong documentation skills to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
