Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python Cloud SQL and BigQuery. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our data solutions contributing to the companys mission of delivering high-quality data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python to support various business needs.Optimize and manage databases using Cloud SQL to ensure high performance and reliability.Utilize BigQuery to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.Implement best practices for data governance and security to protect sensitive information.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure seamless operations.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.Document technical processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.Contribute to the overall architecture and design of data solutions to enhance system efficiency.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and deliverables.
Qualifications
Must have strong proficiency in Python for developing data solutions.Must have extensive experience with Cloud SQL for database management and optimization.Must have hands-on experience with BigQuery for data analysis and insights generation.Nice to have knowledge of other cloud platforms and data tools.Nice to have experience with agile development methodologies.Nice to have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
