Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Python and Snowflake SQL. This role involves designing developing and maintaining data pipelines and ensuring data integrity and security. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in driving our data strategy and contributing to the companys overall success.
Responsibilities
Design and develop robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ensure seamless data integration and transformation.Oversee the implementation of data solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.Provide expertise in Python to develop and maintain scalable data processing scripts and applications.Utilize Snowflake SQL to create and optimize complex queries ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate data governance and compliance measures.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly ensuring minimal downtime.Lead the optimization of existing data workflows to improve performance and reduce processing time.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance data solutions.Contribute to the overall data strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Support data-driven decision-making processes by delivering accurate and timely data insights.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in Azure Data Factory with hands-on experience in designing and developing data pipelines.Demonstrate proficiency in Python for developing scalable data processing scripts and applications.Have extensive experience with Snowflake SQL including creating and optimizing complex queries.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues.Show strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
