Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 to 11 years of experience in Vmware administration and RedHat Linux Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our virtualized environments and Linux systems ensuring high availability performance and security. This role requires a deep understanding of virtualization technologies and Linux system administration.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Vmware virtualized environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of RedHat Linux systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Vmware and RedHat Linux issues.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Perform regular system updates patches and upgrades to maintain system integrity.
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for Vmware and Linux environments.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on Vmware and Linux best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Vmware administration including vSphere and ESXi.
  • Demonstrate expertise in RedHat Linux administration including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Have a solid understanding of network protocols and services.
  • Show proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or Perl.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Display strong communication and teamwork abilities.
