Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience specializing in Guidewire ClaimCenter and Property & Casualty Insurance. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of our insurance applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the business. This role is crucial for enhancing our service offerings and improving customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Guidewire ClaimCenter to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Provide technical expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance to ensure solutions align with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing business demands.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all development activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with business analysts to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Exhibit proficiency in coding languages such as Java Gosu and SQL.
  • Show experience in Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
