Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services and a strong background in Research and Development and Data Models. This hybrid role requires expertise in AWS Cloud Formation AWS Virtual Private Network AWS Backup Amazon EBS AWS Secret Manager AWS Key Management Service AWS EC2 AWS VPC AWS RDS AWS CloudFront AWS Route53 Amazon S3 AWS Elastic Load Balancing and AWS IAM.


Responsibilities

  • Design implement and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of AWS Cloud Formation templates to automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Provide expertise in AWS Virtual Private Network to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
  • Implement and manage AWS Backup solutions to ensure data protection and disaster recovery.

    • In depth experience with setup configuration and maintenance of Cloud service.

    Experience and familiarity with a range of automated deployment tools.

    Ability to learn and develop new tech skills as required supporting the multi-hybrid cloud strategy.

    Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently to deliver objectives

    Experience of working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe and use of Jira and Confluence.

    Experience in cloud design

    Experience in system maintenance recovery and administration across Linux and Windows

    DevOps Experience with skills around automation and tools such as but not limited to Github Github actions CloudFormation Lambda Terraform etc.

    Demonstrate the capability to problem solve look for solutions and communicate these openly in a timely manner.


    Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in Research and Development with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Have extensive experience with Data Models ensuring efficient and accurate data management.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Strong knowledge about Terraform AWS Cloud Formation AWS Virtual Private Network AWS Backup Amazon EBS AWS Secret Manager AWS Key Management Service AWS EC2 AWS VPC AWS RDS AWS CloudFront AWS Route53 Amazon S3 AWS Elastic Load Balancing and AWS IAM.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work model.
