Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience in AS400-System 36 AS400 CL AS400/COBOL AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cards and Payments domain. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and administration of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AS400-System 36 AS400 CL and AS400/COBOL applications.Manage AS400 operations including system backups restores and disaster recovery planning.Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data within the AS400 environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AS400 systems with other enterprise applications.Develop and execute test plans to ensure the stability and functionality of AS400 systems.Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AS400 systems including configuration processes and procedures.Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize AS400 systems.Lead projects related to AS400 system upgrades migrations and new implementations.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Cards and Payments domain.Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to AS400 systems in a timely manner.Stay updated with the latest advancements in AS400 technology and recommend best practices for implementation.
Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience working with AS400-System 36 AS400 CL AS400/COBOL AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration.Demonstrate strong expertise in the Cards and Payments domain.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Show proficiency in implementing and maintaining security protocols for AS400 systems.Have experience in managing system backups restores and disaster recovery planning.Display strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Be capable of developing and executing test plans for AS400 systems.Possess the ability to create and maintain comprehensive system documentation.Have experience in providing training and support to end-users.Show a track record of leading projects related to AS400 system upgrades and migrations.Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and regulations in the Cards and Payments domain.Stay updated with advancements in AS400 technology and best practices.Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
