Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8 to 10 years of experience in AS/400 Utilities CLLE DB2/400 CLP and AS400/COBOL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model and will not require travel. The role involves leading technical projects ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions using AS/400 Utilities CLLE DB2/400 CLP and AS400/COBOL.Oversee the design coding testing and debugging of applications to ensure they meet business requirements.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting regular code reviews and performance tuning.Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues providing timely and effective solutions.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the teams capabilities.Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns.Ensure compliance with company policies standards and best practices in all technical activities.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.Drive innovation and efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.
