Job Summary

  • Knowledge on Application packaging process workflow best practices & standards.
  • Packaging using Admin studio VmWare AppVolumes & powershell App deploy tool kit.
  • Hands on experience on Microsoft Intune (Package & application models) to create package.
  • Create and/or modify scripts & script wrappers for application Installs.
  • Package applications for Win 10 & remediate the non-compatible applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Support Diagnose and resolve issues related to VMWare infrastructure

    • Responsibilities

  • Create and/or modify scripts & script wrappers for application Installs.
  • Package applications for Win 10 & remediate the non-compatible applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Support Diagnose and resolve issues related to VMWare infrastructure and application stack. Provide support for application-related problems in virtual DEM environments.
  • In depth Windows & Application knowledge for both packaging & testing perspective.
  • Application Stack Management Life cycle management of applications/AppStacks: Requirements Packaging Testing Scheduling Deployment Updating Retirement of Individual and Model Appstacks.
  • Produce quality application packages of varying complexity using MSI packaging to be deployed by SCCM to meet business needs.
  • Must have understanding in packaging process workflow best practices standards.
  • Ready to work in flexible hours and must have adept customer-service skills.
  • Good understanding of files/registries and ability to troubleshoot Windows Operating system related issues.
  • Handle multiple requests to ensure all packages are delivered within SLA & meet business emergencies.
  • Perform internal testing/quality assurance to ensure package complies with standards.
  • Coordinate testing and User Acceptance Signoff with application owner.
  • Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment.
  • Engage internal customer to obtain packaging requirements and create technical documents with solutions to meet requirements and scale to large environment.
  • Engage Application Owner/Developer/Vendor to assist with technical configuration when necessary.
  • Create change requests in change management system when applicable.
  • Engage with project teams as needed to provide packaging and deployment support.
