Job Summary

As a Senior Cloud Developer you will leverage your extensive experience in Google Cloud technologies to drive innovative solutions within the Asset and Wealth Management domain. You will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing cloud-based applications and services ensuring high performance scalability and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the companys mission to provide cutting-edge financial solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud technologies.
  • Oversee the migration of existing applications to Google Cloud ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Provide expertise in the deployment and management of Spot VMs ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement and manage Cloud Functions to automate processes and integrate various services.
  • Utilize Cloud Deployment Manager to streamline the deployment of infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications on Google App Engine ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage SQL Server instances on Google Cloud ensuring data security and optimal performance.
  • Implement Bare Metal Solutions for workloads that require dedicated hardware.
  • Design and implement Backup and Disaster Recovery services to ensure data protection and business continuity.
  • Utilize VMware Engine to manage and migrate virtualized environments to Google Cloud.
  • Use VM Manager to automate and manage virtual machine operations.
  • Lead the migration of workloads using Google Cloud Migrate ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Optimize the use of Google Cloud Compute Engine for scalable and reliable compute resources.
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Cloud Run.
  • Ensure applications on Google App Engine are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest Google Cloud technologies and best practices.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud-based applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
