Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra Dev Specialist with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. We are seeking an experienced engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in new generation APM tools like Newrelic Dynatrace etc

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Monitoring and Observability space. This role involves engineering monitoring solutions managing and optimizing monitoring infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high performance.


Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of infrastructure solutions using GIT AWS and New Relic.

Create monitoring solutions for Capital One UK teams

Ability to maintain the current solutions and upgrade or enhance when needed

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues to minimize downtime.

Creates meaningful alerts and dashboards for team and end users

Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

Optimize system performance by analyzing and tuning infrastructure components.

Develop and maintain documentation for monitoring processes and configurations.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Provide training and support to team members on the use of monitoring tools and best practices.

Lead initiatives to enhance the security and reliability of systems

Participate in the planning and execution of projects to support business objectives.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on status and performance.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and monitoring solutions.


Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure development and management.
  • Must have expertise in GIT AWS and New Relic.
  • Must have domain experience in Cards and Payments.
  • Should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Should have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Nice to have knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Should be proactive and selfmotivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Should have the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Should have a strong understanding of cloudbased services and infrastructure.
  • Should have experience in developing and maintaining documentation for infrastructure processes.
  • Should have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
