Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js and Java along with domain experience in Asset Management Operations and Asset & Wealth Management. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our projects during day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Node.js and Java to meet business requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements translating them into technical specifications.Optimize and refactor existing code to improve efficiency scalability and maintainability.Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and deliver cutting-edge solutions.Contribute to the development of technical documentation including design specifications user guides and release notes.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js and Java with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.Have extensive experience in Asset Management Operations and Asset & Wealth Management with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Show strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Display a proactive and self-motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Have experience with version control systems such as Git to manage code changes and collaborate with team members.Demonstrate knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement and maintain secure software solutions.Show proficiency in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Have experience in optimizing and refactoring code to improve efficiency scalability and maintainability.Possess the ability to develop technical documentation including design specifications user guides and release notes.Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
