Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience in Firmware Development C/C++ and Linux. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in GSM EDGE GPRS 2G 3G 4G/LTE VOIP-Voice Network Voice Network-Protocols and Packet Switched Network. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our innovative projects and drive impactful results.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain firmware for various communication protocols including GSM EDGE and GPRS.Implement and optimize Linux based C/C++ code to enhance the performance of network systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate firmware solutions for 2G 3G and 4G/LTE networks.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to ensure high reliability and performance.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to VOIP-Voice Network and Voice Network-Protocols.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards.Stay updated with the latest advancements in firmware development and network protocols.Document firmware designs test plans and user manuals to ensure clarity and maintainability.Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in firmware development.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges.Contribute to the development of innovative features that enhance the user experience and network performance.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality firmware products.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in firmware development with at least 6 years of experience.Demonstrate proficiency in C++ programming and debugging.Have in-depth knowledge of GSM EDGE GPRS 2G 3G 4G/LTE and related communication protocols.Show expertise in VOIP-Voice Network and Voice Network-Protocols.Exhibit experience in Packet Switched Network environments.Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Show a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.Exhibit strong documentation skills for maintaining clear and comprehensive records.Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality firmware solutions that meet business requirements.Show a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in firmware development.
