Job Description:

A VB.NET Developer with VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services / Azure DevOps) experience is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-level applications using the VB.NET framework within a modern, scalable, and secure software delivery lifecycle. The role involves building and enhancing legacy and new applications on the .NET ecosystem, particularly in environments where VB.NET remains in usesuch as in financial services, healthcare, or government systemswhile progressively modernizing them toward .NET Core/.NET 6+ for improved performance, security, and maintainability. Key responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented VB.NET code for Windows Forms, Web Applications, and backend services; integrating with databases (SQL Server) and third-party APIs; troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues; and ensuring code quality through unit testing and peer reviews. The developer must be proficient in using VSTS.
