Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior U.S. Accountant, based in Ahmedabad. The role entails overseeing U.S. accounting tasks, including preparing and reviewing tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, 990), payroll and sales tax compliance, and year-end 1099 filings. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, including GAAP-compliant financial statements, month-end closings, and bank and credit card reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with U.S. tax return preparation, including individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and trust filings
• Proficiency in accounting practices such as full-cycle bookkeeping, GAAP financial reporting, and month-end close processes
• Skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management
• Ability to prepare external audit workpapers and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and tools commonly used in U.S. accounting processes
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, along with strong attention to detail

Bachelors degree in Accounting, CA Inter/CA / CPA (pursuing or completed), IRS Enrolled Agent is an

added advantage.
