Sr. Tender Specialis

Roles and Responsibility of Tender Role:-

To independently handle end-to-end tendering activities for government, PSU, and private infrastructure projects related to PEB structures and street light poles, ensuring accurate documentation, pricing, compliance, and timely submission to secure profitable orders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Tender Management

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities from GeM, e-procurement portals, state/central govt websites, and PSUs.
• Download, analyze, and interpret NIT, BOQ, drawings, specifications, and commercial terms.
• Prepare technical & commercial bid documents in compliance with tender requirements.
• Coordinate with design, production, purchase, QA, logistics, finance, and sales teams for inputs.

Technical & Commercial Coordination

• Review technical specifications related to:
• Street light poles (Octagonal, Polygonal, High Mast, Decorative Poles)
• PEB structures, towers, gantries, and fabricated steel structures
• Ensure technical compliance, deviation statements, and clarifications.
• Prepare costing, pricing, and margin analysis with management approval.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and compile:
• Technical datasheets
• Type test certificates
• QAPs
• Manufacturing credentials
• Past performance documents
• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, MSME, ISO, financial statements, affidavits).
• Manage EMD, tender fees, BGs, and PBGs.

Bid Submission & Post-Tender Activities

• Handle online tender submission and physical submissions where required.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and submit queries.
• Track tender status, respond to clarifications, and manage negotiations.
• Support order finalization, LOA/WO review, and contract handover to execution teams.

MIS & Reporting

• Maintain tender tracker, bid status reports, and win/loss analysis.
• Share regular updates with management on pipeline and tender performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of PEB & Street Light Pole products
• Proficiency in government e-tender portals (GeM, CPPP, state portals)
• Good understanding of BOQ, drawings, costing & commercial terms
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and tender portals

Educational Qualification:

• BE / B.Tech Civil / Mechanical / Electrical
• OR
• Diploma with relevant industry experience

Preferred Industry Exposure:

• Street Light Pole Manufacturing
• PEB / Structural Steel Fabrication
• Infrastructure / EPC / Power / Urban Development Projects
