Area(s) of responsibility

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement network infrastructure based on organizational requirements.
• Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance, system availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems.
• Manage IP addressing, VLAN configurations, and WAN connectivity.
• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewall rules, intrusion detection).

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in network operations and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in managing Severity 1 incidents involving Palo Alto, ASA firewalls, and Cisco ISE.
• Experience with Cisco FTD, FMC, and transformation projects (e.g., ASA to Palo Alto).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect).
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, GlobalProtect, Cisco AnyConnect).
•  Knowledge of ACLs, NAT, traffic shaping, and L3 VPN configurations.
• Ability to monitor and correlate application-layer and network-layer metrics.Ability to work in 24x7 support environments and participate in on-call rotations.
