Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Leader Talent Acquisition who will lead and manage a team of recruiters, drive end-to-end recruitment delivery, and ensure high-quality hiring for client organizations. The ideal candidate should have strong people leadership, client management, and recruitment strategy experience within a staffing or recruitment consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to achieve individual and team hiring targets
  • Allocate roles, responsibilities, and requisitions to team members effectively
  • Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions
  • Motivate the team to improve productivity, quality, and closure ratios

End-to-End Recruitment Delivery

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closure
  • Handle senior, niche, and critical positions personally when required
  • Ensure adherence to client SLAs, TATs, and quality benchmarks
  • Monitor pipeline health and recruitment metrics daily

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a primary point of contact for key clients
  • Understand client requirements, hiring plans, and business priorities
  • Provide regular hiring updates, market insights, and talent availability reports
  • Resolve client escalations and ensure high client satisfaction

Sourcing Strategy & Process Excellence

  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and databases
  • Optimize Boolean searches and ATS utilization
  • Drive process improvements and best recruitment practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and hiring standards

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report recruitment KPIs such as:
  • Closures
  • TAT
  • Interview-to-offer ratio
  • Offer-to-joining ratio
  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment performance reports for management

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong experience in consultancy / staffing recruitment
  • Hands-on expertise in Boolean search and ATS tools
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment life cycle
  • Experience hiring across multiple industries or functions is an advantage

Leadership & Behavioural Skills

  • Strong team management and people development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Problem-solving and decision-making mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, Management, or related field
  • 510 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment
  • Minimum 13 years of experience as Team Leader / Lead Recruiter

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with recruitment consultancies or staffing firms
  • Exposure to IT / Non-IT / BFSI / Engineering hiring
  • Experience in handling Mid to senior level as well as niche hiring mandates
