Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Leader Talent Acquisition who will lead and manage a team of recruiters, drive end-to-end recruitment delivery, and ensure high-quality hiring for client organizations. The ideal candidate should have strong people leadership, client management, and recruitment strategy experience within a staffing or recruitment consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to achieve individual and team hiring targets
- Allocate roles, responsibilities, and requisitions to team members effectively
- Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions
- Motivate the team to improve productivity, quality, and closure ratios
End-to-End Recruitment Delivery
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closure
- Handle senior, niche, and critical positions personally when required
- Ensure adherence to client SLAs, TATs, and quality benchmarks
- Monitor pipeline health and recruitment metrics daily
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients
- Understand client requirements, hiring plans, and business priorities
- Provide regular hiring updates, market insights, and talent availability reports
- Resolve client escalations and ensure high client satisfaction
Sourcing Strategy & Process Excellence
- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and databases
- Optimize Boolean searches and ATS utilization
- Drive process improvements and best recruitment practices
- Ensure compliance with company policies and hiring standards
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report recruitment KPIs such as:
- Closures
- TAT
- Interview-to-offer ratio
- Offer-to-joining ratio
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment performance reports for management
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong experience in consultancy / staffing recruitment
- Hands-on expertise in Boolean search and ATS tools
- Excellent understanding of recruitment life cycle
- Experience hiring across multiple industries or functions is an advantage
Leadership & Behavioural Skills
- Strong team management and people development skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, Management, or related field
- 510 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment
- Minimum 13 years of experience as Team Leader / Lead Recruiter
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with recruitment consultancies or staffing firms
- Exposure to IT / Non-IT / BFSI / Engineering hiring
- Experience in handling Mid to senior level as well as niche hiring mandates
