Software Developer

Software Engineer to support development of the Push-Event, Push-OTA, MIND-A, IAM Consent, and IAM Call Verification platforms. On a day to day basis this Principle-Software Engineer will work as part of a DevOps team to develop and maintain platforms for Fraud Detection & Identity services for AAVS and Aduna, and Internal OTA Migrations and Call Verification for Mobility Customer Care.  On a day to day basis responsibilities will include:

Participate in design discussions/scrum meetings. Develop microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Cassandra. Develop REST APIs for other systems to interface with our microservice platforms Working with Cassandra database to store and retrieve application data CI/CD Integration using Jenkins to validate code security and push software builds to Dev/Test/Prod sites Checking code into GitHub with proper versioning and release notes Write unit tests using JUnit and integration tests Load test components using JMeter and ensure that the applications are horizontally scalable.  Support operations team with troubleshooting production issues.

• Overall 10+ years in software development
• 8+ years of experience in Programming in Java.
• 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with Cassandra.
• 4+ years of experience with Unix (Ubuntu preferred)
• Experience with (REST) API development 
• Experience with Git, Maven, and Gradle
• Experience in performance tuning APIs, using profilers, analyzing heap dumps
• Experience with distributed caching mechanisms and messaging systems (HazelCast)
• Some experience with Angular
• Some experience with IP Networking and Troubleshooting
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker is a plus
• Experience with Open Search, FluentBit, and TView
