Sr Specialist Applications Development

In this role, you will contribute to the research, development, and implementation of innovative technologies to support AT&T's mission to connect people and businesses around the globe. Working as a specialist application, you will be required to demonstrate your highly technical skills within a specific technology discipline or across multiple technology disciplines. To attain this technical level, you will be required to have or be capable of exhibiting extraordinary contributions in specific technical areas and generally work on future or next generation technologies and platforms. Your contribution can be external to the company but shall be primarily internal. You will be recognized as a technical leader in a specific area. In addition, you should have worked or be capable of working on projects of extremely high complexity where analysis of situation or data requires in-depth evaluation of intangible factors. The results achieved have business benefits such as cost savings and efficiency improvements to the network and directs engineering projects/people in solving unique or critical business problems that have an impact on major company programs.

Skills:

• Programming And Automation: Proficiency in Python, Ansible. Experience with Jenkins, InfluxDB/MySQL and Grafana.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of GitHub.
• Network Automation and Monitoring: Proven experience in network automation and Familiarity with various network monitoring tools.
• Full Stack Development: Experience in both backend and frontend development.

Optional Skills:

• Networking Protocols: Understanding of L2-L3 networking protocols.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices.
• Frontend UI Development: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (D3 js), flask and programming language Node/React JS, HTML/CSS.
• AI/Machine Learning: Experience or interest in integrating AI/ML for network automation and monitoring.
