As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with customers to design and implement tailored, scalable solutions that address their evolving needs across industries. This role offers the opportunity to innovate in big data and cloud architectures, acting as a trusted advisor in presales, solutioning, and project delivery. You'll work with diverse stakeholders to create frameworks that harness data for strategic insights, ensuring seamless integration of technologies like ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud migrations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Solution Design :

Engage with potential clients and internal stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients business and tech challenges, actively contributing to the conceptualize-design-sell-win process.

Guide the team on appropriate solution design- review research and solution approach efforts conducted by the team. Serve as a technical advisor for client pitches, providing valuable insights and expertise to demonstrate our capabilities.

Demonstrate proficiency in arriving at a realistic end-to-end data engineering project road-map, ensuring buy-in from respective internal and client stakeholders

Evaluate various tools, platforms, and methodologies for alignment with project requirements.

Mentor the team and directly engage, where applicable, in crafting engaging narratives in solution presentations through decks, documents, demos etc., translating intricate analyses and solutions into stories that align with the specific needs and aspirations of the prospective clients.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams :

Demonstrate strong acumen of technological needs and challenges, with the ability to translate technical insights into business value, positioning yourself as a strategic partner in decision making.

Articulate and enable articulation (by the team) of complex data engineering problems in a clear and concise manner, ensuring a shared understanding among diverse stakeholders.

Work closely with multiple stakeholders, including customer success leaders, senior data architects and industry SMEs to understand requirements, limitations, opportunities and design solutions accordingly

Preferred Experience

Experience and thorough understanding of data engineering concepts and major cloud service providers (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Experience managing teams

Research and analytical skills

Experience working with clients and other stakeholders to map technical engineering solutions
