Location Pune, Remote Work/WFH.

Experience 5 to 8 Years, Manufacturing Vertical.

ASoftware Business Process Automation (BPA) Salesrole involvesselling technology solutions that streamline manual, repetitive workflows into efficient, automated digital systems. The primary objective is to help organizations reduce human error, lower operational costs, and increase productivity.

Core Responsibilities (As an Individual Contributor)

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identifying and targeting potential clients across manufacturing industries that rely on high-volume, manual processes, thus creating qualified pipeline.
  • Consultative Selling: Analysing a prospect's existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies that can be solved through automation.
  • Solution Demonstrations: Conducting technical presentations and product demos of BPA tools (e.g., RPA, workflow engines, or AI-driven platforms) to show real-world value.
  • Account Management & Relationship Building:Maintain strong relationships with clients to drive adoption and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Working with internal technical teams and subject matter experts to tailor software solutions that meet specific client needs.
  • Closing & Management: Negotiating contracts, managing the sales pipeline and providing sales forecasts to management.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Typically, a bachelors degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in software sales, specifically in business process automation, SaaS, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with technologies likeRobotic Process Automation (RPA),Artificial Intelligence (AI), Gen AI, AI Agents, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Fluent English Speaking, Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals.


Typical Sales Targets & Metrics

  • Annual Quota: Meeting or exceeding set revenue targets.
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Efficiency in moving prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Retention/Expansion: Upselling additional automation modules to existing clients.
  • Unhiding new opportunities, Qualifying and Pipeline Management.
